Mallorca’s highlights

Places worth making time for on your holiday.

Personally chosen around the island

Mallorca has no shortage of lovely places. But which ones deserve a place in your plans? After more than ten years exploring the island, I've gathered my favourites: coves, long sandy beaches, quiet mountain villages, castles and viewpoints.

These are places I enjoy returning to myself, with advice to help you decide which ones suit you.

Explore Mallorca’s highlights

Where is Mallorca at its most beautiful?

There isn't one answer. For some it's a rocky cove with turquoise water. For others, the quiet lanes of a mountain village, the view from a hilltop monastery or a long beach for a barefoot walk.

These are my favourite places to visit on Mallorca, chosen from places I've explored and photographed myself.

Each selection explains more than what makes a place attractive. You'll find practical advice too: when to go, how busy it gets, what to bring and who is likely to enjoy it most.
